He received two Sports Emmys for NBC’s coverage of the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games in Beijing and London, respectively and a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lifestyle Program for his work on Netflix’s Sparking Joy with Marie Kondo. He received a 2025 Spirit Award for Best New Non-Scripted or Documentary Series for Hollywood Black, about the history and impact of Black filmmakers. The MGM+ series, directed by Justin Simien, is inspired by the book of the same name written by noted film historian Donald Bogle. Hollywood Black also received two News & Documentary Emmy nominations for Best Documentary and Outstanding Arts & Culture Documentary.
